Jessica Alderliesten, MSW, RSW, offers a calm, compassionate space for parents, children, and individuals navigating change. She provides counselling in Kelowna and online across British Columbia, specializing in divorce and co-parenting support, relationship challenges, anxiety, and family communication.
Jessica is a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of British Columbia Okanagan. She has completed extensive post-graduate training in Family Mediation and Divorce/Separation through the Justice Institute of BC, and she is deeply committed to helping families create healthier patterns and stronger connections during difficult transitions.
Her approach is gentle, empathetic, and client-centered, focused on helping clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. Jessica integrates the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Family Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory, and Motivational Interviewing to support growth, healing, and practical solutions.
Jessica is especially passionate about helping parents develop collaborative co-parenting relationships that protect their children’s emotional wellbeing. She guides families in managing conflict, restructuring family systems, and creating parenting plans that reflect care, respect, and stability.

 Supporting clients through periods of change- from parenting adjustments to professional challenges- with balance, clarity, and resilience.
6. Hear the Child Reports
Providing child-focused interviews and written reports to ensure children’s voices are heard during separation and family transitions. Jessica is approved by the Hear the Child Society of BC, offering a warm, supportive approach that helps children share their views safely and authentically.
