Brady Thompson, MSW, RSW
Therapist, Registered Social Worker
If you’re feeling anxious, stuck, or overwhelmed, you’re not alone- and support can make a real difference.
Brady Thompson is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of British Columbia Okanagan. He provides counselling in Kelowna and online therapy across British Columbia, helping teens and adults navigate life’s challenges, including anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, grief, addictions, and major life transitions.
Brady’s approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and client-centered. His goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and supported- a place where real growth can happen. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based therapy, he tailors each session to meet your unique needs and pace. Together, you’ll focus on building resilience, improving coping skills, and finding new ways to move forward with confidence and clarity.
As a proud Métis counsellor registered with the Métis Nation of BC, Brady weaves his cultural identity and values into his practice. He emphasizes cultural safety, humility, and inclusion, blending Indigenous worldviews with evidence-based counselling to foster connection, belonging, and healing.
Brady also brings deep empathy through his lived experience as a cancer survivor and someone who has navigated his own mental health journey. Clients often describe him as authentic, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to- someone who truly understands what it means to struggle, and to find strength again.
Whether you’re seeking to manage anxiety, understand your ADHD, heal from trauma, or navigate a difficult transition, Brady offers a grounded, compassionate approach to help you rediscover hope and direction.
